Sayumi Yokoyama

English, Japanese

Sayumi moved to Sydney in 2015 and became a certified massage therapist, treating people with musculoskeletal dysfunction. It was during that time she realized massage can only provide short-term pain relief, but is unable to help her clients recover over the long term. She then proceeded to study for a strength & conditioning coaching certification, and worked as a rehabilitation trainer in Manhattan, New York, at a chiropractic clinic in 2017. No matter if you are an athlete or not, Sayumi’s mission is to make you into a movement expert, so that you learn how to move properly and stay away from injuries and pain. Sayumi gave birth to a boy in November 2018, and loves reading about parenting, human anatomy and cooking.

Marco Lui

English, Japanese, Chinese

Marco loves running and used to compete in trail races around the year — until overtraining led to a knee injury that has sidelined him for half a year in 2013. The setback became a starting point of his journey in sports medicine, as he seeks to understand how to avoid and treat injuries. His mission is to help athletes move better and perform better at their sports. When he’s not coaching, you will most likely find him running in the woods, or at home cooking Japanese or Mexican food.
